JACKSONVILLE, Fla. I’m here and settled in my hometown after so many travels. I have many places left to travel and battles to fight with raw food and living in the real world. But as I look around my life and in the mirror, I see the following:
*I am following my calling.
*I am TRULY happy.
*I do not have the need for medications.
*I no longer struggle with ADHD, acne, stomach aches, anxiety, etc.
*I am at a healthy weight and have clear skin.
*I feel confident with myself and my life choices.
*I have released myself from jobs and other situations that are not ideal for me.
*I am about 100% raw on any typical day, and it is not a struggle.
I have just recently decided to combine my old blog and journal entries from several spots, and it’s been fascinating to look through them. Looking back, I am reminded of how hard I worked to become physically and emotionally well. The near divorce, then the saga that ensued. The confusion. The times I reached for non-raw ice cream and other things. The identity crises. Etc.
I nearly deleted it all. So much dirty laundry aired out on the internet! I thought it was a little crazy to be sharing so much personal information. But then, I’ve decided to leave it up here. People need to know they are human and perfectly OK if they don’t just perfectly jump into 100% raw. I want this information to be out there in case it helps someone else.
I hope you will not judge my difficult times, but if you do, I understand. I am happy to have gone through the things I have and am happy with where I am and who I am today. Still moving forward but living in the moment, today.

Thanks for being so candid and open about your raw journey. I know personally I can learn a lot by reading the trials and errors you have gone through to get to where you are now. You are a constant source of inspiration to me and I think I can say, to all those around you. Please keep doing what you are doing. You RAWk!!! XOXO Tessa
Thank you Eva for being here and helping those who are newer to this lifestyle understand that this it is ok to not be perfect while we are learning to live this lifestyle. You are very courageous to let us see all the inner turmoil that you went through on your journey to this place in time where you feel that you have conquered your cooked food demons. I hope to be there soon.
I enjoy your newsletter, as I’m sure I’ll be enjoying your blog. The link to enter the book give-away. I’m hoping it was to comment here.
I’m just finishing up my North Carolina vacation and getting ready to return to Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Wish you Carolina raw retreat would have coincided with mine! Maybe next year!
Eva? Thank you so much for all you do! What a wonderful person you are! Absolutely love your recipes!
